Step 4: Release the TensionLet your muscles relax completely. Sit quietly for 20 to 30 seconds. You do not need to do anything during this rest period.
Step 5: RepeatRepeat the tense-and-release cycle 5 times in a row. This full set takes about 3 to 5 minutes and should be done just before and during any exposure to your feared trigger.
